Known since 1954, it was introduced by Allahyarham Hj Ismail bin Hj Salleh bin Hj Abdul Latif. He is the pioneer in coffee mixture using traditional ways to prepare the product. There are variety packing using coffee mixture to sell to local market. Most of the coffee are well known to all over Kedah andPerlis state.

This great coffee has been produced using traditional method too keep the originality of the aroma and quality of the coffee mixture. The taste is great even me as worker didn't realize ...how delicious drink ever...

Hj Ismail bin Hj Salleh from Kampung Suka Menanti, Alor Setar, Kedah. Starting from youth he followed his father to explore the local land..after his father died, he continued his father's dream as bussinessman. He well-known all over the North area and most of the old school's people know him as a great person to deal with.

First career is as Quran's teacher because his background study is quran at "Pondok". For a long time he move to India for 2-3 years to study maternity medicine called "makjun". Back from India, he starting the "Ismail Kasturi Makjun " under his house at Kampung Suka Menanti. Then he married to Che Yah and had lovely 6 children.

Right now, his son Abdul Razak and the youngest daughter Zaharah is leading the company until today. Still the production is targeting around the local area. Sometimes the product had penetrate into southern region like Kuala Lumpur and Johor.
